Marike Hauser designs and creates her jewellery collection under the name LUZ, the Amsterdam studio which stands for beautiful design, quality and durability. LUZ means light/bright, and that is exactly how Marike describes her own design: the creation of a bright image. All the jewellery is created by hand, one piece at the time. Where possible, LUZ uses gold from the Oro Verde project in Colombia. Here gold is extracted in an honest and environmentally friendly way.
